Park Brdo is a treasure of carniola's aristocratic history with its impeccable gardens. While you are walking or running through the park you can admire the park’s rich flora and fauna as well as the many sights of the park such as the Brdo Castle with its winery, the valuable sculpture collection, an artistic beehive, you can rest under a straw-covered local kozolec (a freestanding vertical drying rack). Guests of the hotel Kokra have admission FREE access to the park. There is a practice golf course for long game and short games on the hippodrome. Fans of golf can borrow golf clubs or play a game of golf with an experienced instructor upon notice. You can buy tokens for exercising balls at the reception of the hotel Kokra throughout the day as well as on the practicing grounds from 4 pm. Use of the practicing course is free, the price of a token for the exercising balls is 600 SIT/2,50 EUR. You can also enjoy riding at Brdo, where we can provide riding lessons for beginners and advanced learners in our riding tourist centre. You can also make arrangements for a carriage ride through the park or a sleigh ride across the magical landscape of the Brdo Estate in the winter. There are eleven ponds on Brdo. Three of which are meant for fishing. You can finish of your fishing day with a picnic in the Tolminka cottage where we can prepare your catch for you and add other dishes according of your choice. You can participate in a hunting game from September 1st through to December 24th in Brdo. You can hunt: - red deer, - fallow deer and - moufflon.

International Airport Ljubljana: 10 km Kranj - city center: 5 km Railway station: 6 km Coming from Austria, you turn to the exit Kranj - ZAHOD (WEST) and then follow the sign BRDO, past the village Kokrica. Hotel Kokra is on the left side. Coming from Ljubljana, you turn to the exit Kranj - VZHOD (EAST)and follow the sign BRDO (and Jezersko). Passing the village Britof and Predoslje, Hotel Kokra is on the right side.
