You will feel the rich history everywhere within the thick monastery walls, like in the authentic convent garden, the hotel rooms and the function rooms. Cancellation Policy:
If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy:
No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes:
VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 0.66 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
Internet:
Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 4.50 per 24 hours.

This design corresponds to the historical details which are still visible in the whole building.

From October 2007 the Cas Spijkers Academy for highly talented chefs will be located in Klooster Elsendael. We can highly recommend having a dinner in our restaurant where excellent chefs prepare some meals.

Hotel Location

Boxmeer has a long and rich history and there are several old buildings which remind you of the past. Boxmeer also has the oldest lime tree in the Netherlands and there is a nice bench that you can sit on to watch the ships passing through the locks on the river Meuse. The local VVV (Tourist Information Office) offers you several hiking and biking tours which can lead you to all the historical spots. Boxmeer has a unique countryside where you can take long hiking and biking tours. Water sports enthusiasts will enjoy the possibilities that the river Meuse offers. There is also some interesting museums and attractions near the Klooster, such as an arts centre with a small theatre and several monthly exhibitions. There is a sports centre with lots of different sports within walking distance from the Klooster .

By car: - Take on the A73 exit number 6 to Boxmeer/St. Anthonis - At the traffic lights you turn left to Boxmeer - In Boxmeer continue until the level crossing and after the level crossing turn right - At the NS railway station turn left toward the Maasziekenhuis (hospital) (this is the Bilderbeekstraat). - After 200m you will find the Elsendael Klooster on your right. From Germany: - Take the first exit (Boxmeer) on the A77 - On the overpass turn left towards Boxmeer - In Boxmeer go straight ahead - After the third roundabout (the Rochusplein) take the third street on your right (Bilderbeekstraat) and then take the third street on the left (Dr. Peelenstraat). -On your left you will see the Elsendael Klooster. By train: - Leave the station building and walk straight ahead into the Bilderbeekstraat, towards the Maasziekenhuis (hospital) - After 200m you see the Elsendael Klooster on your right hand side.
