The tasteful design of our 8 meeting rooms make them suitable for all kinds of meetings and trainings but also for receptions, parties and intimate private dining’s. The length of our biggest conference room is 172 square meters. In the following type’s of sitting we have a maxim capacity of: Sit down diner 140 persons; Reception 225 persons; U-Style 40 persons; Theatre 125 persons; Square 45 persons. Pets are allowed in the hotel room, but they need to be held in a cage.

Golden Tulip Alphen aan den Rijn is centraly located.We are proud to present you are new renovated rooms. The new rooms are decorated with new furniture, which give the room a more warm look. We hope to give you a feeling as like you are home. Golden Tulip Alphen aan den Rijn has 57 rooms in total, of which 37 Comfort Rooms, 14 Superior Rooms, 5 Limited Edition rooms and 1 Superior Deluxe.

Our dining room “Restaurant Brasserie Toor” is one of the oldest restaurants in the city. In 125 years it has become a statement. You can visit us every day for lunch and dinner. During the lunch (11.30h..-17.00h.) we may offer you different types of breads. When you are visiting us with a client, we have a special business lunch.(2-course menu, dishes changing every day) During dinner (17.00h.-21.30h.) we offer a lot of seasonal dishes. You have the opportunity the select your own 3- or 4-course dinner. If you are interested in all a dishes, we serve a special “Tasting Menu”. This is a parade of dishes, in a 4-course menu you will taste a the specialty’s of the menu. Our cosy living room-style BAR 1878 is the perfect place to get a drink after a business day or a meeting. BAR 1878 is opened from Monday till Thursday, between 17.00h. and 01.00h. The bar is also the perfect place for an employee party or a family reunion.(max. of 50 persons) For those special occasions it is not a problem to open BAR 1878 on other time’s than the opening time’s.

Golden Tulip Alphen aan den Rijn is located in the middle of a lot beautiful spots. The biggest bird park of Europe, Archeon and water park Wet ‘n Wild are only a couple of minutes away from the hotel. With the train it is very easy to visit Cheese City Gouda and Rembrandt City Leiden, the hotel is located next to the central station of Alphen aan den Rijn. Alphen's shopping area is within walking distance from the Hotel. The international 'Airport Schiphol-Amsterdam' as well as many well-known tourist attractions are all nearby Alphen aan den Rijn. Holland's largest cities Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague en Utrecht are within 30 kilometer range from our hotel.

By Car From the direction of: - Amsterdam, Schiphol-Airport: From the highway A4, take the exit Alphen aan den Rijn. Once you are in Alphen follow the signs Centrum/Hoge Zijde until the traffic square 'Raoul Wallenberg-plein'. Exit the roundabout straight on in the direction of Gouda/Utrecht. After 200 meters you will see the hotel on your right hand side. From the direction of: - Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague: From the highway A12 take the exit Gouda, Bodegraven/Alphen aan den Rijn. Once you are in Alphen, cross the high bridge and follow the signs Centrum Hoge Zijde. From the direction of: - Leiden: Take the N11 from Leiden/ Zoeterwoude directly to Alphen aan den Rijn. Once you are in Alphen keep following the signs 'P+R'. Once you arrive at the 'P+R' parking, you will see the back of the Hotel at your left-hand side.
