Located in the centre of Ambleside and offering private parking, this high-quality guest house accommodation is situated in a great location for exploring the many wonders of the Lake District. During your stay you can walk, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of this prime Lake District location, close to the banks of Lake Windermere. Each morning you can tuck into a freshly cooked breakfast, including yoghurt, fruit and cereals, which can be served in your room if you prefer. As a guest of the hotel you can enjoy complimentary use of the Low Wood Leisure Club, with facilities including a sauna, jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool. This environmentally friendly home is also close to many activities including a cinema, tennis courts, putting green and horse riding.All our rooms are warm and comfortable, with pleasant decoration and equipped with standard facilites. Rooms are all en suite with underfloor heating that feels cosy underneath your feet. Some of our rooms are higher in the building so please let us know if you have any difficulty climbing stairs.

Important Information:
Credit cards are accepted but do incur a 4% surcharge, this does not apply to debit or maestro cards. Please note that not all requests can be guaranteed, but we will do our utmost to accommodate them. Evening meals are not served during November, December, January and February; it is appreciated if they are booked in advance. Car parking is limited and so we ask that you only bring one car per room. Leisure club facilities are at the Low Wood Hotel which is just over a mile away. Outdoor activities are available locally and payable locally.

Policies

Cancellation Policy:
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy:
All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy:
100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.
VAT and city/tourist taxes:
VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included.
Internet:
Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.
Meal Plan:
Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
Parking:
Free public parking is possible on site.
Pets:
Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
