from the south/edinburgh: - take the m9 motorway towards perth. - exit at junction 10 (a84). - follow signs to thornhill (a873). - then follow aberfoyle and the trossachs (a81). - from aberfoyle, take the b829 to kinlochard, which follows the lochside to forest hills. from the north: - take the a9. - join the m9 for stirling/glasgow. - exit at junction 10. - then, as above. from the south west and glasgow: - take the m8. - exit at junction 16. - take the a81 to aberfoyle via the clyde tunnel. - then, as above. by air: airports at glasgow and edinburgh connect to most british airports. from there follow road directions as above. by rail: stirling is the nearest mainline station for intercity and sleeper services. forest hills is 35 minutes by road, take the a84 callander road and then a873 thornhill and a81 aberfoyle.
