This cosy, family owned hotel rests in the town centre, a few steps from the train station and within walking distance of Skagen Museum, the beach and harbour. Skagen is a beautiful place of vast and untouched heaths and sand dunes, surrounded by clear blue sea. This, the northernmost tip of Denmark, has more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in the country. Skagen is a city of art, with several museums and other cultural attractions. Refurbished in January 2005, the hotel's public areas offer clean, modern spaces in which to relax.

The hotel enjoys an excellent location in the centre of Skagen, just besides the pedestrian street, a few steps from the train station and walking distance from the Skagen Museum, the beach and the harbour. There is a wide choice of restaurants within close walking distance from the hotel and the hotel staff will be happy to assist you with our recommendations and book a table for you. Biking is an excellent way to explore the surroundings, therefore bike rental is available at the front desk, and if you really need to work (or simply surf the web), you can connect free of charge to the internet with your own laptop and wireless card directly from your room, or while sitting in the bar.

Hotel Location

Skagen is a bright town suspended between the sea and the sky. The scenery of heaths and sand dunes surrounded by the sea is vast and untouched. This northernmost tip of Denmark has more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in the country, so it is no surprise that this unique place has attracted tourists since the mid 1800s, and that many artists chose this town as their place of residence and work. Skagen is also a city of art, with several museums and attractions.

Denmark and Skagen are easily accessible by car, ferry or train. The nearest international airport is Aalborg, from where there are also several daily connections to Copenhagen.
