snezka – pec pod snezkou
the highest mountain in bohemia. on the top there is the most highly located post office in bohemia. post stamps are available even today.
upa – peat bog – pec pod snezkou
natural reserve since 1952 is located in a shallow depression between snezka, hranicni hrbet and studnicni mt. at the height of 1400-1425 m. the upa and the white elbe spring here. it is one of the most valuable natural parts of the krkonose mts. with rare vegetation.
giant´s pit - pec pod snezkou
huge mountain valley of glacial origin between pec pod snezkou and snezka foot. obri dul is the natural reserve with rare flora.
mine kovarna – pec pod snezkou
visit the underground of the highest mountain of czech republic - snezka. you will enter the accessible mining creation from the former smithery in obri dul with our guide. you will be surprised what a big space is left after the miners mined iron, arsenic and copper.
dvorsky forest – horni marsov
the highest point on the rychory ridge, protected reserve with rests of beech primeval forest, scrubs and trees of bizarre shapes with branches covered with moss.
wielki staw + maly staw - lakes
lakes on the polish side of the krkonose are traces of glacial activity. they can be seen from the main ridge of almost 170 m high rock wall or in poland you can see maly staw and its 60 m high moraine barrier, which is rich in rare vegetation.
