Harrachov is one of the most important Czech centres of mountain hiking and skiing; several winter sport events take place there regularly, and it is known for the internationally used ski jumping facilities. From 20 December to 3 January and during February there is a minimum stay of 3 days applicable. All children up to 15 years are each charged 50% of the room rate per night when staying with a parent.
