This family hotel has 24 rooms - there is a difference between the standard rooms and the suites. All rooms have their own identity with some typical characteristics of the Ardennes region. Both the standard rooms and the suites are equipped with standard facilities.

The kitchen is inspired by the French cuisine and offers delicious dishes from the Ardennes region. During the hunting season there are some game specialities on the menu. There is also a seasonal wine menu. It is possible to reserve a 3-course dinner at a cost of EUR 25 per person per night, excluding drinks.

Hotel Location

"Tavern in a desolate area" is the ancient meaning of the name Baraque de Fraiture. The Baraque is famous because of its altitude: 652 metres above sea level. Thanks to this altitude the location is a real attraction when the Ardennes are covered with snow. The langlauf pistes start from the hotel’s garden and the ski piste is just 500 metres from the hotel. The hotel is situated in a woody area in the municipality of Vielsalm (15 km) and is easily reachable via the E25, Route de Soleil. The location is perfect to visit some towns nearby: Bastogne, La Roche and Durbuy. Several beautiful hike and mountain bike tours start directly from the hotel’s garden.
