There is something wonderfully unique about the Moevenpick Hotel Bahrain which blends the classic Swiss touch with Arabian hospitality. Strategically located opposite the airport, overlooking a lagoon, it offers a fine restaurant, international bar, an atrium lobby restaurant and a pool bar. With a spacious parking area, two outdoor tennis courts and a large pool, it lies within ten minutes driving distance of the city, making it ideal both as a leisure retreat and a business destination.

Hotel Information

We offer high speed internet in all rooms and wireless internet access throughout the hotel, or through cable if the signal is low. It costs 10 BD per 24hours and 1 hour is 5 BD. The guest doesn't need anything to connect to the internet. The whole hotel is wheelchair accessible. The hotel is on the same level, groud floor, with no stairs, so there's no need for a ramp. We have special rooms for the disabled. The bathroom and the whole room are equipped. Two people can stay in the room. We have a Grand Ballroom and 9 meeting rooms, with state of the art equipment and laptops on hire. Guests may relax in the large 576 sqm infinity edge swimming pool or enjoy a game of tennis on the two flood-lit courts. The gym also offers rejuvenating massages.

Personal cheques are not accepted. Upon check in the guest is asked for a pre-authorization on his credit card for the stay. If guest does not have any credit card then cash deposit is required. Tourist visas can be obtained at Bahrain International Airport or at the King Fahad Causeway for : - Citizens of the European Community, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong. Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom; and - Visitors who have been resident in the GCC for a minimum of six months, and who posses a return visa for the country of GCC residency. If you are NOT a passport holder of one of the above countries, please arrange your visa before arrival.

All rooms are en suite, with a bath or shower. All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning and dimmer lights, digital TV and radio, IDD connections and three phones with voicemail facility. The Gallery: Spacious and comfortable restaurant, set amidst a green haven and overlooking the lagoon. This casual dining features continental breakfast, lunches/afternoon tea/cakes/pastries and Moevenpick ice-creams. Whether you stop by for coffee, a business lunch or an ice cream with your family, the cozy setting of the Gallery makes it a popular meeting place to conduct business or leisure with a great dining ambience. Opening hours: 09:00 - 00:00 Palms: Lounge on a deck chair at a table or pull up a bar stool and order from our poolside menu of tasty bites and refreshing beverages. The setting at the bar is perfect for a cool dip in the pool followed by snacks sandwiches/light meals/Moevenpick ice-creams and desserts. The Moevenpick Hotel Bahrain is located on Muharraq Island opposite Bahrain International Airport, adjacent to the lagoon. One minute from Bahrain International Airport. Approximately 10 km from the business and city center of Manama.

The only airport is Bahrain Airport. A shuttle bus is available at the cost of 4BD per trip, per person, by calling on the same day. Driving directions: From all directions - please follow directions to Muharraq Island/ Bahrain International Airport. The hotel is located adjacent to the Airport Main Building. Valet parking service is available. We offer a secured parking -24hrs security- and free of charge. There's no need for reservation.
