The first National Lodge Isla Victoria, inaugurated in 1946, was for years the ideal "place" in Argentina for honeymooners or romantic trips amongst the high-class youngsters of Buenos Aires. The lodge is surrounded by pristine wilderness. Inside, you will find intimate corners, such as a wine cellar where you can taste the best Argentinean wines, or you might seek retreat in the Andean bar. The Patagonian-Mediterranean cuisine itself is worth the trip to the island. In addition, there is a small spa and sun deck with a sauna and heated swimming pool-a whole secluded world on an island in the far south.
